Eine 4K Dashcam ist eine Dashcam mit einer Auflösung von 3840 × 2160 Pixeln oder 2880 x 2160 Pixeln. Die Videos von 4K-Dashcams bestehen daher aus vielen Pixeln, sodass die Bildqualität oft gut ist und mehr Details sichtbar sind. Weil das Bild einer 4K Dashcam so groß ist, sind auch die Videoclips viel größer. Das bedeutet, dass auf einer SD-Karte viel weniger 4K-Videos gespeichert werden können als zum Beispiel FullHD (1080p). Daher ist es oft ratsam, für deine 4K-Dashcam eine SD-Karte mit der größtmöglichen Kapazität zu wählen, z. B. 256 oder 512 Gigabyte.
